About Us

Based in the lovely East Riding of Yorkshire, the Robust Resin team are manufacturers of beautiful, hard-wearing timber and epoxy resin items for the home, office, restaurant and hotels.

We love working with wood, it is a great lively product and we wanted something that could really show off both the beautiful grain of the wood and the outer live edge of the wood.

But more importantly, we wanted something that would be different, interesting and unique. 

 

Combining a high quality epoxy resin with wood gives the ability to use all sorts of wood that traditional furniture makers would reject because it is full of cracks and holes. 

 

When making unique pieces of furniture, we cut the wood down the middle, then the ‘live edge’ (the outer characterful edges of the tree) are placed in the middle. Or alternatively, multiple character pieces are placed amongst a beautiful creation of hand poured resin.
